PrettyLittleThing Founder Umar Kamani has stepped down from his position as CEO after 12 years.

Kamani, who began the business along with his brother in 2012, introduced his determination on social media yesterday and now plans to pursue “new challenges” with the potential to “build new brands”.

He added that he will nonetheless proceed to help the Boohoo-owned on-line retailer on “some tasks” while it searches for a new CEO.

In a press release on social media, Kamani mentioned: “After 12 years as CEO and Founder of PrettyLittleThing I’ve made the tough determination to step down from my place as CEO.
